School is not only about gaining knowledge. How you went about learning is equally important for your work life.

For example, you made a group presentation for a class. What are some of the important hands-on, work-related experiences you gained from this academic activity?

  • Researching and organizing information.
  • Communicating information in written and verbal form.
  • Meeting deadlines.
  • Making a presentation.
  • Working with a team.

You could add to your Education Section:

1997-1999
Business Diploma, Wilfrid Laurier Community College

  • Participated in a major group business analysis project that received an A.
  • Researched one-third of project material and wrote one section.
  • Presented project results with team members to a class of 45 students.
